The interim phase is the longest, lasts between two and ten years and is characterized by aggravation of short -term memory, difficulty in monitoring conversations and decision making, sleep disorders, suspicion, false thoughts and sometimes hallucinations and wandering.
Characterized by quite independent function. This step lasts between two and four years, with the symptoms as standard aging: a slight memory impairment (words of words, laying objects in place, etc.), impairment of complex chores and mood changes (confusion, tendency to depression and aggression and more).
Significant memory loss to the point of identifying family members, endless inability to function independently. This step lasts from one year to three years.
